Review:

Yowza! This was one of those books that sucked me in right from the start, and I FLEW through the pages! In fact, I read the first half of the book in one sitting. Could. Not. Stop!

Peter made for a perfect focal point for this story. You know how sometimes you just love to hate a character? That was him: a defense lawyer obsessed with winning and his immaculate appearance. I couldn’t get enough.

I have to be completely honest here and tell you that I can’t say much else about the book because I keep writing spoilers and then deleting them. So I’ll sum it up by saying this: sometimes revenge is absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a fast-paced psychological thriller to binge in an afternoon, grab this book. The storyline alternates between “Then” and “Now”, so the suspense builds at a great pace until it all comes together in the end. Seriously: go read it!
